Here comes a little background info about the guys you might want to deal with...

Pivot Distribution GmbH is a distribution & sales agency focussed on the sales of skate hardgoods and streetwear.

Pivot was founded in 2004 by long time friends and skateboarders Martin Propfe and Martin Dockenfuss in Cologne, Germany. The business started with the distribution of a few small German/European hardgood brands out of the first „warehouse“, located in the basement of their shared apartment.

After a slow but steady growth and a slightly expanding range of brands, Pivot was able to move into its first real office and warehouse space, located in Roonstrasse 96 in Summer 2006. The new spot offered the opportunity to include a small skateshop (Pivot Skateshop) which became a valuable part of the local skatescene. The shop opened up in August 2006 and Pivot hired their first employees. In that same year, Austria was added to the distribution territory.

In 2011, the old location became too small. The company moved on into its new home at Brüsseler Platz 22, located in the center of Cologne. Today, Pivot Distribution and Skateshop still share the same roof and an awesome team of employees is doing a great job for our brands and our customers.

In the end of 2017, the wholesale business was divided into a distribution and a sales agency branch. Also, The Netherlands and Luxemburg were added to the sales territory.

Since the beginning, it has always been our goal to be a reliable partner for the shops and brands we work with. It’s important for us to work very closely with our customers because we see retail as a very important part of a vivid skatescene. We are super thankful for this journey and curious about the things to come and the new faces to meet.
